VI.3)Additional information
(a) With reference to Section II.1.4 'Duration of the framework agreement', the duration of the respective framework contracts will be 48 months for lots 1, 2 and 5, and 96 months for lots 3 and 4.
(b) With reference to Section II.2.2 'Information about options', the framework contracts may cover the supply of equipment of the provision of rental services of such equipment needed for the performance of the main services of the corresponding lot.

(c) With reference to Sections III.1 and III.2, all the conditions and requirements for participation in this restricted procedure are laid down in the documents and communications available free of charge at the following website under reference JRC/IPR/2013/C.1/0040/RC (http://www.jrc.ec.europa.eu/callsfortender). Applicants must follow the 'Instructions to applicants for the submission of requests to participate' published thereto. Any additional information and replies to requests for clarifications will be published on this website. It is therefore the responsibility of the applicants to check this website on a regular basis.

(d) With reference to Section IV.3.4 'Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate', requests to participate must be sent not later than 6.9.2013 (postal service date) or delivered by hand not later than 6.9.2013 (16:00) at the address mentioned in Section I.1. In the case of hand delivery, a receipt must be obtained as proof of submission, signed and dated by the Commission's central mail department.
(e) 1 economic operator (or group of) is allowed to apply for 1 or several lots. Nevertheless 1 economic operator (or companies of the same group) may be awarded only 1 lot with the exception of lot 2 (RPA) and lot 5 (OSLO) which can be awarded to the same economic operator. Lots will be awarded according to this order of award: 1, 5, 4, 3 and 2.
(f) Based on Article 134(1)(f) and (g) of Commission Delegated Regulation No 1268/2012 of 29.10.2012 on the rules of application of Regulation No 966/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the Union, the Commission has the faculty to enter into negotiated procedures with the respective winning tenderer(s) of the present call for tender for services similar to those of the present notice and additional supplies.
